You know...the whole "Does SE hate X class" is pretty ridunculus. If they hated it why would they make it in the first place?

Wow! So it very likely that they will extend level cap to 60 soon?...?Not any more. Patch 1.19 has barely any Goldsmith weapon recipe, bar the THM's. Banneret Lance, Thunderstorm Axe etc. all gone.
ehm, what?

Maybe make a segestion to make goldsmithers the main smelting class in the game, it would give them a much needed niche if other metal workers had to rely upon them to make their nuggets and ingots.

I'm more disappointed in how the tier 3 gems are becoming mine-able --- the only rare-ish synth pre 1.19 /prepares for the flood of tier 3 stat rings
But yes, this is not the goldsmith most here are used to; no expensive and rare items delicately crafted into the finest of shinies, just hammering out a few stat rings every now and then and upgrading reskins to the next tier every 10 ranks.

I may not be a high level Goldsmith (im only 28), but I think that the Slot Limit should be lifted, and a variety of different jewelry should be available.First off, being a Goldsmith is pretty expensive. That's to be expected.
But we create items that people only need in extremely limited amounts. No one wants MOST of what we can make. They want rings. That's all.
We at LEAST used to have the niche of being needed when those items got damaged. But after patch 1.19, not any longer! (and who needs a goldsmith to take your accessories to 100% when 99% is really just as good?)
Also I see that accessories will not be able to get materia attachments. Thus furthering the uselessness of being a Goldsmith. Once everyone has all the rings they want, we are left to become 'starving artists' as it were, with no real purpose left.
Sure there are SOME weapons that a Goldsmith may attach materia to, but really, its not enough to make up for all of our losses.
...I knew I should have gone weaver...
