NIN -- how does everyone else feel we're doing?

There are also plenty of others showing Drgs not always being on top in actual fights.

This drg isn't bad either, so don't say he is.

This nin is just ALSO pretty good. I think this was their first clear too, not sure.

It would have been nice if we got a new "Kiss" ability rather than Smokescreen. Kiss of the Scorpion or something. Changes Mug's added effect to "steal" extra time for Huton or "steal TP". Jugulate's effect could be altered to apply "cripple" and lower the target's damage output for a short duration. I know the poisons are "Rogue" abilities, but it's not like we got new Mudra or anything and what we did get isn't more specific to ninja than rogue.

Also, I think Duality should have been more useful. Possibly have it double your auto attack hits for it's duration. It isn't awful as it is now, but it's nothing to get excited about either.

In general, I think Ninja is still in a good place, I just think there was some wasted potential in Heavensward abilities.

I've seen posts of dragoons doing over 1k in that fight not saying the dragoon is bad maybe just an off night or he got mini during the fight.

The posts I've seen with Drgs parsing over 1k were all merged parses, I personally haven't seen any posts that had over 1k that were in merged with the gear available to clear last week.

They are slightly weaker than mnk, I was only 10 dps behind our MNK if you filtered out incoming damage to faust only, only time MNK's do a lot more is when theres adds or they are babied(ex, nin LB so MNK's can keep their GL3)

Just give us less TP cost and maybe lower the CD of Dual/DWAD should me enough imo.

mediocre at best, slightly above bard and mch's.

3 skills gained in Hw are useless and don't add to dps, while other classes got skills that add to dps, thats the problem, also terrible tp management compared to others, wrap it all up and you got a bad class.

That's impressive, I have now seen one, even so, that drg didn't do over 100 dps more than the nin in the vid. We can't watch what the drg did to achieve that parse # unfortunately. May very well come down to what foods and pots they are using. That drg is probably using some higher end stuff (like dracs). Will never know though.

No doubt thats why i'm saying its prob too soon to know how ninja is stacking up for sure we'll prob need to see how full 210 gear stacks up at minimum.

With 2 AS1 clears and gobtanking A2S, I have some thoughts. If I make a mistake or if someone has more info, I'd love to hear it.

I play with really really good DPS, while derps happen on machanics, people have lag, wipes happen, DPS is stellar. I'm getting crushed by our DRG, SMN, and BRD on A1 DPS. Now I'm working on improving that, came on at 909 last A1S clear, but being best by about 100-200 DPS by other jobs. Some of that is SMN banes my add, I cannot go full burn on it, I still dodge puddles to the wall, but still crushed.

I honestly don't think ninja is in a terrible place, but we have ALOT of damage that you don't see on the parser under the ninjas name. TA is obvious, being the flexible LB bro who doesn't have to worry about BOTD or GL to LB3. I'm still under the impression TA effects LB damage, hate control is great, allows more DPS combos from tanks, goad is helpful, and slashing debuff is damage without warrior.

DRG is for sure king right now.
