Final Fantasy XIV merchandise

Hello everyone,

after reading through the threads about cash shop and the one with the 3D Avatar of our characters I thought to myself that we need much more merchandise of FFXIV.

All these ingame minions of the NPCs are really nice and I even bought some of them from the cash shop. It´s a nice way to have your favorite characters near you while you play. But at one time in the future this game will shut down (hopefully that will be far far away in the future) and all of those minions and other ingame items will be gone and there will be nothing to truly remember them in real life.

We already have these adorable plush toys of the post mogry and soon the carbuncles and I bought the first plush and will probably buy the other ones too as soon as possible. The bonus ingame items were a nice extra but I really bought them to have something real from the games that will exist even after it. We also have soundtracks and some other goods which are nice but there barely any other merchandise for this game.

So I would really like to have some figures of the NPC characters. I know it probably only a dream to have them as big as the ones from other Final Fantasy games, but it would be nice to have them at least as mini figures. They could even come in sets. Like for example a Scion set, or an Isghard set which would have characters like Haurchefant, Aymeric and others in it. Maybe even have some key chains of them.

In the end, all I would want is something that I can own in real life which will remind me of the NPC characters I love and not just some cute plush toys. (Which also take quite some space ) I would like to hear if other people would love it too. Maybe you have other merchandise ideas than please write about it. Maybe we can give SE some ideas and show them that we would truly buy such things and maybe some day we will get more FFXIV merchandise.

I wouldn't mind seeing these sort of things in the cash shop. I'm not a big collector but if the figurines are HQ, I wouldn't mind blowing triple digits on some of the primals. If they don't have primals, I'd gladly buy a Hilda!

So long as they make the in-game items attached to them available via other means, they can make any merch they want.

A Hraesvelgr figure or statue would also be amazing. I love the dragons in this game and he's my favorite so far.

I'd love to see things like t-shirts and messenger bags with either NPCs or even job logos on them.

I'd 100% spend all my wages on figurines for sure! But things you can carry/wear as you go about your day to day business, that would be awesome too!

@Dree-Elle: I agree that those ingame items that come with merchandise should be available in another way. Especially since some are limited items. Maybe the could put them on the cash shop for a slightly higher price than the minions that are exclusively sold on the cash shop. But in the end I don´t think that every merchandise needs to have ingame items attached. Like I wrote I would still buy them without it just to have something real to remember these characters.

Yes figurines of the primals would be very nice too especially if they are really well done. And t-shirts and messenger bags would also be great =) Maybe we could even decide with motive they should print on it.

@Ayuhra: Yes a Haurchefant figure would be like a dream come true. I sometimes wonder if he turned into a primal and tempered us all

I was lucky enough to be able to grab a plush FFXIV Moogle from the merch stand at 2014 Distant Worlds concert in Nashville, TN. It's definitely nice to have something physical to call your own to remind you of the game! I also was able to grab an ARR poster from some GameStop rewards a while back, which is nice too. I agree with the demand for figures! Haha. Personally, I'd love to see Y'shtola or Hildebrand as figures of any size! I think the Primals would also make great figures as well!

All in all though, I agree with the OP. Any and all merch would be welcome to see!

Hildibrand would really be a nice figure too. Maybe he can come in a set with his family and Nashu? But maybe that would be too awesome for us to handle?
