You can install it over your own servers. But anyway for example with Linux you have possiblity to map your home folder over whatever computer you want without sending data to 3rd party. I assume you are working for small company or developing something for phones, because in big companies they would never allows you to sync data like you described. Because its unsafe.
Actually most stuff I do is in the financial sector, so VERY high levels of security.
And no, I do not use my own phone or computer for work-related stuff, and if I would I would of course not have it synced, duh... I use that in my personal computers. And it works perfectly fine.

BTW: did you know you can turn off airo in windows 7?
BTW: Did you know you can prevent Win 10 from sending ANY data?

There is only one reliable way. Firewall that machine with rules:
    iptables --policy INPUT DROP
    iptables --policy OUTPUT DROP
    iptables --policy FORWARD DROP

But then GG with your whilelist.

Or you could just use one of the many tools that can do this shit for you.

sir, its no point to explain things over and over again. Use this tool you posted. Download wireshark. Sniff traffic from and to your W10 machine. Be suprised.

Their EULA basically states that it doesn't matter what you set windows to do, they can still do it anyways.

All the client settings in the world won't change the fact that you signed away on your right to privacy by installing it.
