    Just a little warning for everyone: the key you get when updating to Windows 10 is some sort of OEM generic key.
    Yes, even if you had a boxed version of Windows 7 or 8.1.

    This means that if you change some parts from your PC, like the CPU, Motherboard or even HDD, the Windows 10 key might not be valid anymore.
    You would have to go back to 7/8.1, change your hardware, and then go back to Windows 10 via the free update.

    They might change that later down the line, but for now, that's how it works.

    If you plan to do some upgrades, do the BEFORE updating to Windows 10.
    (Be also careful of what kind of Win7/8.1 licence you have as it might becore invalid with new hardware if you have an OEM key.)
