Stay ignorant, my friends. But there’s something you should know: Windows 10 is also spying on nearly everything you do.!!! you can google that its true
Microsoft 10 is a spy software and they dont tell that to users, they know when you start your computer! have fun with it but i stay on windows 7 ^^

I laugh when it's cool to have a smartphone, use Google search, watch YouTube and get excited about the new version of iOS and Android or MAC OS and when MS releases a new version of Windows suddenly it's not cool at all. If you are so concerned about privacy then you must unplug yourself completely from the internet.
You can switch off many of the privacy setting in W10 after all. They are just on by default.
W10 performs better in every aspect than W7 and W8. And when DX12 games come out next year you will want to have W10.
It's always crying when a new version of Windows comes out. Same happened with 7. People were bashing it saying their Windows XP works better and they don't need 7. They even said they will never upgrade yet they did when their games stopped running well on it. So let's stop this crap talk we all know most gamers will upgrade to 10 at some point.

Only people which are technically unskilled are happy about new version of mac os, ios and stuff. Basicaly they are same kind of people who likes MS10.
You always have option to control your traffic over internet and not use google, youtube, macbadstuff, also you can use google and youtube anonymously so its not that big deal.
Regarding windows there are many other security concerns than just few default setting .. (also lot of hidden). Windows 8 was bad and Windows 10 is also bad. 7 is not great but better choice.
You know why people liked win xp? Because it was small, you can disable lot of things, it was not great but it was kinda clean and after some tweaks its even run on calculator.
With every new version of Windows they add 10GB of things you dont need, dont want, like retarded intergation of windows store, twitter, social crap and other zillion things you dont ever need as gamer.
I'm a Software Developer, and I love Win 10. It's faster, looks better, runs better on bad machines than 7, got rid of that Aero shit, and synchronizes many settings over both my computers, and soon my phone as well.
So I really wouldn't say that it's mainly people who are technically unskilled like Win10.

Well then I really hope you dont work for some sector which needs some level of security. Also dont understand why people like sync, only reliable sync of settings I found out is mozilla one. You can install it over your own servers. But anyway for example with Linux you have possiblity to map your home folder over whatever computer you want without sending data to 3rd party. I assume you are working for small company or developing something for phones, because in big companies they would never allows you to sync data like you described. Because its unsafe.I'm a Software Developer, and I love Win 10. BTW: did you know you can turn off airo in windows 7?
Actually most stuff I do is in the financial sector, so VERY high levels of security.Well then I really hope you dont work for some sector which needs some level of security. And no, I do not use my own phone or computer for work-related stuff, and if I would I would of course not have it synced, duh... I use that in my personal computers. And it works perfectly fine.
BTW: Did you know you can prevent Win 10 from sending ANY data?BTW: did you know you can turn off airo in windows 7?

http://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 For those who are concerned, this stops the spying. I'll consider upgrading when a workaround is released for the force-fed updates.
For those that "saw a performance increase"... how long was your last OS on your system? A fresh install of the same OS can see considerable performance increases.
People tend to get excited by new OSes not created by Microsoft because they tend to be better than the one they already using. Unlike Microsoft products which have about a 50/50 chance of being a complete piece of junk.
1) Most didn't do a clean install, just an upgrade. For those that "saw a performance increase"... how long was your last OS on your system? A fresh install of the same OS can see considerable performance increases.

2) On my second machine the OS was rather fresh, under 6 months, and I was not noticing any sort of performance issues yet.
3) The last piece of junk MS put out was Vista, so the chance that their new OS is going to be better than the last one is rather high lately, so yeah.
have to disable my avast, but other than that, just upgraded clicking the icon.. had to update my drivers, and do some updates but so far seems to work fine..
Drive it like u stole it
