    Devs area bunch of *(&^&( I just saw my credit card bill today to the tune of $200/6m with eight retainers. Absolutely not worth it anymore. Time to start canceling subs.. Besides, wow is less than half the price and way more 'fun'.

    Like people have said, the real issue isn't that it's hard or expensive. The real issue is that it isn't fun or rewarding. I spend more time gathering than I do crafting, which is kind of a problem when your main focus is crafting.

    Also, 'hardness' doesn't overcome unrewarding. Just because something is difficult, doesn't mean you'll be compensated properly for it. Difficulty also doesn't overcome tediousness, in fact it compounds the issue because you have to do the same difficult task repeatedly to see any amount of reward. Lastly, difficulty doesn't necessarily make something not boring, it's true that a good challenge can be fun, or better put, overcoming a challenge can be fun. However, we aren't overcoming challenges, challenge is built into the crafting system with it's absurd amount of RNG, add this to the number of consecutive crafts usually required to make 1 piece of gear. Crafting isn't boring because it's hard, it's hard because it's boring (in it's current state).

    Straightly, I was trying to point out, previously ppl complained "too easy crafting everyone can do it as myself no one need me to craft..etc"
    then asking SE to make it "harder" (with fun and rewarding but not everyone can achieve),
    then now I deserve to have this not "fun or rewarding" system which is not hard.

    Don't get me wrong, I agree with op and hate this more than you.
