Make the Glamour Quest in Revenant's Toll level 1, so anyone if they make it there as a reward can get the quest. Also make it where you can glamour low level items with higher level ones.

Lv.1 players can get to Mor Dhona very easily, leave Gridania from the north gate to North Shroud, to West Coerthas and Mor Dhona. can be done in 5 minutes or so.
and low level players shouldn't be allowed to glamour. want to look good? at least put some effort for it and get to level 50.

Why am I still reading these forums when there are people like this one around...
To me that translates to "low level players shouldn't be allowed to have fun. Want to have fun? at least put some effort for it and get to level 50"
Edit: Instead of making a new post ill reply to the second part from OP here
I don't agree that you should be able to glamour higher lvl req gear to low.
But I do wish ilvl didnt matter.
Because I wanted to glamour ribbon of xx from Mog king to my fisher, but i couldn't because it had higher ilvl.

low level players supposed to wear bad looking gears. they designed the game like that, to convince people to do content and level up to 50 in order to have real fun, real rewards.
Yeah, that annoys me too >.< They should at least weight the damn thing, so equip level counts for more than item level. (Say, for example, you wanted to glamour the Mog ribbon onto a level 50 i55 choker; it would fail, because the equip level is the same, but the item level is lower on the choker. But if you wanted to glamour the Mog ribbon onto a level 54 i90 choker, it would work, because the equip level of the choker is higher.)
(Now, there's a reason why my first level 50 was Fisher, because I wanted to get that damn glamour system, and Fisher was the quickest to level that didn't automatically screw with my MSQ progress...)
I remember getting to somewhere around 30, and getting a pink chestpiece from a leve... I wanted to glamour it onto the gear I was still using because it was pretty, even if the stats sucked. But the problem was that the aetherial quality of the gear lowered the equip level requirement but not the item level, so while i could equip it, the item level was TWO higher than the gear I was using >.< And so it wasn't allowed.
Bad example is bad XD How would said low-level character even get the Alexander gear?
Yes, but considering the argument started off as "stop with forcing people to level to 50 to unlock glamour system", I didn't read said example as someone who had classes at 50+, but someone who was still levelling their first class =) My fault, probably, but I'm hoping you can see it as a fairly reasonable 'misread' =)
And no, I don't agree with unlocking glamour things entirely when it comes to level/ilevel; I just think that being unable to glamour level 50 gear onto level 51+ gear because the ilevel is higher on the 50 gear is annoying. Which is mostly an issue for DoL/DoH classes.
No, it wouldn't be only for that. It's also for those stages where the game would force you to wear horrendously ugly gear for a while because of stats. Once you've gotten one class to 50, you can easily take care of that by glamouring good-looking gear on top of the ugly things, but... I would like that to be an option for anyone, not just those levelling alt classes.I get the idea that this would be for alts and for role play, and everyone role plays differently, but it seems kind of.... odd to me that a level 20 warrior in a serious RP session would want to run around in anything except heavy plate mail. If you're in a non combat situation, nothing is stopping you from throwing on the level 1 glamour gear and making a special gear set for that - glamours aren't required for that.
You say this would be an improvement. I say it would be a total waste of dev resources.
Edit: Discussed with my FC, everyone agrees that level 30 would be reasonable but level 1 would just be too confusing and pointless.
Sure, you wouldn't be able to craft the glamour prisms yourself, but on the other hand that's still the case for many people who ARE 50, simply because they haven't bothered levelling their crafters to 50 to get hold of the level 30 recipes for prisms. So if the low-level people want to spend their hard-earned gil to buy prisms (unless they have crafter friends who like to help them out), I say let them.

To me it translates to "If anybody can have what I have, then I won't be a special snowflake anymore". Glamour is fun, and gives you zero gameplay advantage. Everyone should be able to have fun, no matter their level.
Edited to add, it's totally needed for low level players and alts that can afford it - I flat refused to wear some upgrades when new and small because I hated how they looked. (looking at you harnesses and subligar) {{{{shudder}}}}
