Why does that matter? Are you entitled to bought gear? All a low level could get is crafted gear really. Which anyone can buy, not gear you earn in dungeons or quests.

I would of said the same when the level cap was 50. However it is no longer a max level thing.

Agree that any lv of player should be able to use glamour system, requiring 50 for the quest is completely unnecessary for a vanity feature.

Why bother glamoring at low levels?

I mean, you're going to change gear anyways in 4 levels or so.

It just means that you're going to waste money on something you won't even keep.

I think it should stay 50 not, because they have to level it to deserve it or something. But. because the mats, catalyst needed for glamours will be expensive for the low level players. If you are a newcomer and you are level 1-20, unless you grind for days or find a sugar daddy, getting 5x catalyst that are around (this is based on my server) 10.000,00 gil per catalyst is not going to make a lowbie very happy.

I reckon SE wants the players to level and not focus on grinding gil to pay stuff for glamours. If we had the same system like other games where catalysts are very cheap or there is none and a player only needs to drag the glamour armour to a tab, then, I would agree with you and make it a level 1 quest. Right now this is sadly not the case, so I think keeping it at level 50, is the best choice.

Support this because glamor still got level restriction, you can't glamor high lvl gear. So there no need to worried about lowbie look like lvl 60 player, let them glamor low level or MOG gear that look match with their taste.

I don't see what benefit you could actually get out of such a change. You wouldn't be able to glamour anything that looked neat and you typically replace gear so fast that I can't see a reasonable person bothering with it even if they could. The only thing it could be is a newbie trap. In fact, it barely even qualifies as a newbie trap. Someone so new to the game that they don't know how fast you replace gear most likely wouldn't be able to afford the prisms and cool equipment anyway. This is a change that really only benefits exactly no one.

I wouldn't mind them reducing the level requirement a bit. Give it to the same lady who gives you the dye quest and make prisms available in most stores. There you go, one lovely glamor system which is open to all.
If they did as the OP said, then it would be possible. That's what I'm against. You cant glamor higher level gear onto lower level gear. If you could, low levels would be running around looking like high levels.

I don't care if the ability to use glamor is set at a lower level, but keep it restricted to gear within the level of the piece you are glamoring onto itself.

Don't need people running around in a Steel Cuirass that has a Alexander body glamored onto it.

You can already buy prisms in every city for 200 gil. Buy one, ask an crafter to polish it up for some extra gil and have fun.
