How Do I Get DoL Equipment in Heavensward?

Hi!

So I'm trying to level mining in Heavensward, after having finally completed the epic story. Most of my equipment, though, is stuck down between 40 and 45, with the odd 47 or 48 piece in the mix. I've seen that there are gear pieces available from the DoH professions for 51 DoL and 52 DoH, but the only place I've seen this available for purchase has been in auction.

As I'm new to the game and am trying to pool gil with my FC for that incredibly rare opportunity to purchase a house, I can't really afford to drop a million gil into other players' retainers (because prices have climbed that high). While I could take the time to level the other DoH professions to make the gear myself, it leaves me wondering: is that really the only way?

Am I missing something, or is HW-level DoH/DoL gear not available from vendors? If not, what's the best way to update my gear, outside of bankrupting myself? Can I use my seals from the 2.0-2.55 content to help?

Hi Jpec,

You can get level 53 gear from your level 53 class quests. Level 55 gear can be bought from from the aptly named Emptier of Purses in Moghome, or rewarded from the level 55 quests. That applies to both DoL and DoH. If you want the lower / higher level stuff, or want HQ, then you'll have to craft or use the markets, but frankly those should be enough. Any missing 53/55 pieces are likely to be cheap on the MB as people sell off their unneeded quest rewards.

If you're below 53 then try using the Manuals from the level 50 class quests to boost your exp. Also don't forget daily GC turn ins, which give a massive amount of exp.
