High end dps class ?

Honestly, I think you have to level each job to 60 and see which play style fits you best. Like others have said, drg and smn are in a good place right now. Smn are particularly good for soloing since you get a pet and you can summon your chocobo. Your one member short of a light party lol. But is it easy? Perhaps for some. Personally I dont enjoy nor am used to micro managing the pet(s). I find blm fairly simple and enjoyable (many here on the forums do not). "Easy" is highly subjective. Play a bunch of classes, stick with what you enjoy and be prepared to do some research (unless you're just naturally a dps god). Or better yet do your research now as I dont think you can get a definitive answer for YOU from anyone on this forum

Edit: just for the sake of argument ill add in that most will agree smn is currently the undisputed king of aoe (drg single target king with good aoe). And also in terms of soloability, ive seen a level 60 japanese streamer solo a non synched praetorium as smn. Thats 1 guy completing a lvl 50 8 man instance. Idk if any other class can do that. Kind of inspired me to lvl smn but I cant stand micro managing the pets.
