Upgrading account from 14 Day Free Trial to Full Account

Hey guys, I don't usually post on forums, but I'd figure I'd throw it here, and if I posted this in the wrong forum, please move it to the correct forum.

So a week ago, I downloaded the 14 day trial from the FFXIV main site and NOT through Steam, got it all set up and played it the last week and loved every second of it, especially playing as a Pugilist, I decided I wanted to play the actual game so I bought Heavensward today (July 30) from the Square Enix Online Store at 9:50, I then went to upgrade my account, only to find I did not have a Registration Code needed to transfer my account from the 14 day Free Trial to a Full account, and it states i need a Registration Code, I DO have the Activation Key, and have tried that, but it did not work, I have contacted Square Enix a few times and waited several hours and not once got a response, any help would be greatly appreciated ^^

Hmm, You need to buy FFXIV: A Realm Reborn first.
Heavensward is the expansion not the main game.

ah okay, i thought it was the main game and the expansion at the same time so i wouldn't have to buy them separately, i will do that, thanks ^^

There is a package on the SE store (and I'd assume elsewhere) that includes both, but if you've already got one, doesn't make sense to get that now. Fortunately... as other posters have noted, ARR keys can be had for very cheap.

You can pick up a digital key for the original game for as little as £5.62 if you're willing to shop around a little. (SE store is still selling for £19.99)
