The major problem with action combat mmos is the type of combat they all choose. Developer for some reason keep going with the hack n slash Diable style combat which is so 10 years ago. Combat in single player games picked up from fighting games the combo and counter based combat system

Offesnsively most combat now of days adopted the combo based combat sytem like Tekken and Soul Calibur with a few auto combos and the ability for players to create their own combo by juggling moves togther and using the 8 way directional system.

Defensivey most combat sytems adopted the counter and gaurd system fom Tekken and Soul Calibur Witcher being one of them having an active gaurd and doge as well as pary and just gaurd.

I for one love the rush of combo juggling and staggering my oppenent with just gaurd when break my opponents defenses its just so satisfying not the crap action combat found in these f2p mmos.
