    The glaring problem with MMOARPG's

    The major problem with action combat mmos is the type of combat they all choose. Developer for some reason keep going with the hack n slash Diable style combat which is so 10 years ago. Combat in single player games picked up from fighting games the combo and counter based combat system

    Offesnsively most combat now of days adopted the combo based combat sytem like Tekken and Soul Calibur with a few auto combos and the ability for players to create their own combo by juggling moves togther and using the 8 way directional system.

    Defensivey most combat sytems adopted the counter and gaurd system fom Tekken and Soul Calibur Witcher being one of them having an active gaurd and doge as well as pary and just gaurd.

    I for one love the rush of combo juggling and staggering my oppenent with just gaurd when break my opponents defenses its just so satisfying not the crap action combat found in these f2p mmos.

    and your point is ??

    i mean Action based fast pased combat is just a new genre in the MMORPG's
    mostly skill based than your lvl and gear.

    the games are getting more advanced instead of click and target you point and attack and use your skills to do combo's

    you dont have to like it but its not a bad thing either it just all depends on preference

    I have never played Soul Calibur but imo comparing combat system of MMO and 2D fighter game (hope that tekken was 2D) is not a good idea. You might be building unreachable expectations.

    For example GW2, TESO and Skyforge tried more active systems and TBH the games still bore me a lot.

    Go try Dragon Nest. Its combat is top-notch. It suffers in the class balance department, though.

    The NA version is probably the least P2W, but it still definitely has a F2P business model.

    Both are 3D fighters. What Square should consider is making their Ultimate Fight Final Fantasy 14 a real game mode of FF14. Put it in the game as some sort of PVP duel, which would be fine. With a lot of modifications, UFFF14 could be a serious fighter, and it would attract a whole new segment of players into the game. People are suckers for crafting/mini games - I'm a sucker for good fighters. Make it happen, Square!

    This could actually be some game machine in gold saucer. Some 2D fighter like Mortal Combat or so.
    Would be enough if they put some commition into it.

    Your suggestion is better ofcourse, but I don't believe that SE would put enough effort into it to make it actually worthwhile.
