    Do you already have 25 gloves in your armory chest, by any chance? If so, the scholar gloves will have ended up in your regular inventory.
    If not, it might help to check in with a Calamity salvager. They have a weird tendency to end up with lost important items.

    unfortunately i looked in both places even used the quest rewards in the log to seach for it and i do not have the gloves and have never recived them so the calamity vendor does not have them in stock. ty for the idea tho!

    still not fixed

    despite all my best efforts i and attempting any possible solution i still cannot complete this quest is there really no way a gm can just reset the quest for me? all i ever get is a automated response saying that they cant provide individual answers...
