What would you want to bring over from FFXI to FFXIV?

The simple ability to farm endgame stuff with your FC or Static (no randoms-even though i appreciate PF/DF)

Couldn't farm anything if another LS was already there farming. "What shall we do tonight, Sea?" Cant do see Bobs LS is farming there today, freds LS is there tomorrow, we arent booked until sunday. "What about Sky?" MArys LS is farming there today etc, we arent open till monday for there......

Come sunday, go to sky to find out one of the jerkbag LSs reknowned on the server had already popped and killed the NMs. GG.

Nyzul and Neo Nyzul where based purely on RNG, no matter how good you played or how fast you cleared a floor, if RNG gave you the finger you were not getting to floor 100 in time. 30 minute timer, doable once a day. Those who dont know, Nyzul was a tower you started on the bottom floor and one person had to stay waiting at the lamp at the entrance ready to activate it when the conditions where met. Conditions where, kill a certain monster type. So you had to ignore every other one until you found them, or kill an NM which you had to find and ignore every other mob. That 30 minute limit... Or, the worst of all the lamps. You had to find them all, park someone at each one, and the worst pattern was having to light them in a specific order.

THOSE *CENSORED* LAMPS!

Then when you had cleared the condition run back to the start and pray to RNGeesus you got sent up a decent number of floors to have a chance to complete it in time. Most times you couldnt, because you kept getting sent up a small number of floors and thus ran out of time.

It wasn't fun the 100th time you failed because of RNG.
