This comment was not needed at all, this was suppose to be a fun post about what people liked in FFXI would have like to see in FFXIV. More of a killing time post, your negativity is not needed. So this is a theme park MMO.
That was a sandbox MMO.
The two are not compatible and Devs already stated much of the nostalgic content from FFXI will not be coming back, because they are actively trying a new approach.
The servers are still up for FFXI, should you choose.
Ballista would be welcome here. The open world in 14 is a bit dead.
It could trigger like a FATE rather than zone-wide PvP
Its an easy way to breathe life into dead zones without having to create new assets etc.
I would bring Campaign and Besieged back. I mean, they are essentially just fates.. but they felt a great deal different. They were more enjoyable because of the setting. You felt like you were in an actual war, not just some pest clean up crew.
I would bring over the personal moogle assistant. I miss making him spin in an endless circle (though I don't miss having to go to him to change jobs).
This is posted in general discussion, I may post what I wish to my understanding. Sorry if my opinion offends you, but it is straightforward and truthful. Devs commented on this several times.
Have fun on the internet??? I thought everyone knew it's serious over here.
Back on topic, let's have some Pandemonium Warden and Absolute Virtue (before all nerfs to watch the hardcores rage.)
- Trust System
- Dancer
- Red Mage
- Going back in the past
- Conquest
- Chocobo Hatching
the LS system.
A system similiar to their Trust system. Campaign/Besieged after going back to FFXI I feel like those 3 things still hold up
Lmfao wow. Except some things could be brought over. Like armour designs. And effects that we've already seen in XIV.
I'd like to see a consumable that could turn us into monsters. The costume foods. The game has clearly done this already and thus would not be beyond the dev's capabilities.
