    Gardua and Enkindle

    Hello,

I would to know if its possible to improve the activation of Enkindle while using Gardua.
In so many situation, while I try to activate Enkindle while Gardua is mid-casting wouldn't initiate it correctly and I would have to spam the ability till it register but that would hurt my rotation.

What I would like to simply have so to have Garuda cancels her cast and immediately uses Enkindle. It a similar behavior when I issue a "Heel" command.

I know there is a work around the issue of Enkindle while using Gardua is to have a macro that has "Heel" command followed by Enkindle, but that would delay the damage needed from here as she will do the "Heel" command, which is walking to me, then doing the Enkindle move.

Use a macro, like SCH do to ensure that Whispering Dawn goes off correctly, ans ASAP

Yeah, that's what I'm doing at the moment. I have a macro that has a Heel followed by Enkindle, but that delays your pet actions as it makes it move from its position to yours then does the move, and in some rare occasion Enkindle gets used by the damage doesn't trigger.

But, what I'm suggestion is, since Heel does force your pet to stop its casting then move to you is to have activating Enkindle have the same behavior as Heel, where it would force stop the cast and do the Enkindle move.

You don't have to spam it, your enkindle will go off, your pet will finish its casting and will then cast it the next GCD.

Ifrit does the same thing when its got an ability queued. You don't need to wait for the pet animation, just wait for your enkindle animation to go off and it to go on CD.

That would work if I'm commanding her to do an ability that it belongs to her, but the problem with Enkindle its my own.
When I issue Enkindle to Gardua while she is casting, the animation of the ability will happen but the ability will not go on cooldown. Unless I'm lucky where I do Enkindle in between of her casts, then it would happen otherwise, I will have to spam Enkindle till she decides to do it. Which hurts my rotation completely.

It's because you use a macro that Enkindle doesn't queue properly.

Stop using awful macro's and just use the skill normally and she'll use it after the cast. If I press or click a skill it will go off within the next GCD, never had an issue.

I'm actually having the issue where I'm not using the macro, using macro guarantee me activating Enkindle all the time. The only downside from the macro is that it does delay the pet as she will complete the Heel command, where she will move to my side then does Aerial Blast which delays it a little bit.

What you are talking about is that Queuing happens when I issue a command to the pet to use HER other abilities while she casting HER Wind Blade, Contagion for example, she will queue it to be used after she complete casting her Wind Blade.

The problem I'm having is from the fact that Enkindle is my OWN ability so she will not queue Aerial Blast if it happen that I issued the Enkindle while she is casting/just started casting Wind Blade. In so many cases, I will end up having to spam the ability at least 2 to 3 times till she complete it, and no it's not a lag issue because its the only Ability in the game that is giving me so much trouble.

What I'm simply suggesting is to have Enkindle to behave similar to Heel. Where issuing Enkindle would stop Garuda's cast and complete the Aerial Slash, similar how would Heel would stop the cast and causing her to move to my side. This would always guarantee that Enkindle would happen because every GCD matters in the rotation and DPS.
