AST Time Dilation - Tooltip Error?

Howdy all!

I just hit 56 AST and was excited for Time Dilation, a skill that feels very useful to me in the right circumstances. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I couldn't cast it on myself.

The current tooltip reads as follows:
"Extends the duration of the target's beneficial effects by 15 seconds."

However, the behaviour of Time Dilation is more restrictive than the tooltip describes:

• Time dilation cannot be cast on yourself

• Time dilation only extends beneficial effects applied by you

The other question raised by this:

• Why can't I use Time Dilation on myself? There are many scenarios where I might want to extend my own buffs. The limitation here feels arbitrary considering that the gameplay and world behave in such a way that AST can cast beneficial effects on themselves and each other. I can use cards on myself, and cast bubble/regen on myself, but I can't extend my own buffs.

Devs: can you please clarify how Time Dilation is intended to work, and correct the tooltip if it is indeed missing key information?

I don't know if this has been addressed in another thread, but I didn't find anything posted. I'm sure others will have their own feelings about Time Dilation. I'm not an expert AST, but this tooltip is unnecessarily confusing.

Preeeetty sure they didn't want you to extend LA or LS by using TD on yourself. The 5 secs from CO is one thing but 15 on your mp refresh? Extra 15 secs of instant cast, mp-reduced spells? Suddenly OP.

Good point! I had considered it in the context of cards, rather than LA or LS. So I agree, it probably would be OP. Hopefully they can update the skill description then! ^^

I don't even think it will be OP if we can use time dilatation on self. AST is far from being OP.
