BRD's Enhanced Barrage Trait

We all know that BRD's Barrage has been modified to triple a weaponskill. However, the trait does not reflect that.
Word for word tooltip on enhanced barrage:
"Increases number of strikes per auto-attack to three."
Even outside of WM, Barrage no longer has any effect on auto attack so I find it weird that the devs just completely dismissed this.
Just thought I'd put it out there because this now becomes a useless trait when we could have something else replace it. Gonna hope the devs sees this and does something about it.

I believe without that trait, weapon skills only do double damage. While the tooltip is incorrect, the trait isn't useless. However I don't have the ability to test it as I already leveled past that point of testing.

I'm talking about the trait itself not the buff. The trai says auto attack but barrage doesn't have anything to do with autoattacks anymore.
In the case that the tooltip is an error, then they need to fix it and have it really tell us what the enhanced trait does.
Barrage says that it multiplies the number of non crit strikes by 3; and so it already it does this. Meaning the enhanced trait isn't doing anything to it which is what I mean by "useless".

Edit: I'm finally comprehending what you're saying lol. But testing does need to be done to find out whether the trait increases the hit to 3 or not.
