SCH level 45 quest bugged

so i am currently on the last part of the level 45 SCH class quest "in the image of the ancients" and the npc i complete it at will not allow me to turn it in and with some research i found out i need to be wearing all of the gear the quest provided me with. the only problem is i never received the scholars gloves and i desynthed the fingerless gloves thinking they were just a trash item. so as of this moment i cannot abandon the quest and i cannot get any of the quest chains npcs to let me progress so i am in a quandry on what to do. i submitted a request for a in game gm to help me but they told me to turn here hopefully you can help me as i dont want to be a gimp healer missing spells and gear bacause i cant complete my class quest chain thank you !

Do you already have 25 gloves in your armory chest, by any chance? If so, the scholar gloves will have ended up in your regular inventory.
If not, it might help to check in with a Calamity salvager. They have a weird tendency to end up with lost important items.

unfortunately i looked in both places even used the quest rewards in the log to seach for it and i do not have the gloves and have never recived them so the calamity vendor does not have them in stock. ty for the idea tho!

despite all my best efforts i and attempting any possible solution i still cannot complete this quest is there really no way a gm can just reset the quest for me? all i ever get is a automated response saying that they cant provide individual answers...

You wouldn't have been able to find them by searching for the quest reward, because those are different gloves.
