BRD & MCH in frontlines

I'm thinking of working up a 3rd (nonhealer) alt for pvp. BRD and MCH being the most appealing to me at the moment... I was just wondering if anyone could share their thoughts nuances of both? I have seen MCH turrets being used to block caps but aside from that, I'm not sure exactly how one would play compared to the other.

BRD works really well as a finisher for people trying to run. MCH works better at node harassment or protection due to Bishop Turret. Both do well as a ranged combatant, but SMN and BLM are the best in that role.

I haven't leveled either to 60, but I do know that as a healer and SMN MCHs give me waaaaay more trouble than BRDs. That said, it could just be that I haven't come up against many good ones yet. But when you see a MCH start loading you up with their debuffs and you know that Between the Eyes shit is incoming...yikes.

BRD isn't that bad in frontlines. It excels in a long range fight but shines the most in mid range because that is where its sweet spot damage is at. With that said, I would probably name BRD the "King of Harrassments".
It has a long range 20% slow, Feint, that will extend your opponent's GCD or casting time for 10s with diminishing returns. It has a multitude of oGCD moves that makes it easy to interrupt casts or deal more damage.
It also has the ability to play cat and mice. MNK is chasing, bam! Shoulder Tackled! So what? Repelling Shot, Recuperate, and keep running. Shadow Bind if needed.
But the thing I love about BRD the most is making players cry when they die from a non melee LB.
Windbite -> Blood for Blood -> Venomous Bite -> Hawk's Eye -> Feint -> Raging Strikes - Heavy Shot -> Shadow Bind -> if enemy purifies, restart applying dots, if they're fighting back, feint after. If they're running away, Sprint -> Invigorate -> Wanderer's Minuet -> Barrage -> Empyreal Arrow -> Sidewinder -> Far Shot = guaranteed kill on non tanks.

Don't forget that Blood for blood is bad for you. Make sure to click off once your burst is over. Unless you wanna get hit for 8k like that one guy.

i kind alike the new map for frontlines as a bard lol lots of nice spots u can sit up high n pick off unsuspecting attackers lol well works with any range class :P

BRD and MCH are the weakes in pvp afer PLD and DRK, an warrior is stonger and that is an tank...

I never understand why ppl play this weakness in pvp... and I trieed both.
But 99% of this player don't know here own skills.

Honestly I'm not looking for "strength" per se. I want something that's fun, even if it won't rack up particularly high kill counts.
