Dissipation?

Does anyone else think that this should automatically resummon the fairy back at the end of the duration? Or, at least give us a free fairy? 1768 mana is a lot of mana to respend after dissipation is over, and eats up the quickcast.

I mean it has its uses for extra aetherstacks, but feels more of a disability most of the time.

Yea I definitely agree with this thats just a hard hit to your mp bar if you do use it and end up resummoning it.

Dissipation gives you an extra 450 Potency damage in a standard DPS rotation
Though ED doesn't quite make up the cost of a Revive, it certainly helps.

Energy Drain had been a staple for some time. Dissipation just lets you burst harder.

Dissipation is mainly useful for dpsing harder. Probably not the intended use for it due to the healing buff it provides.

Only use I could find for it healing wise is in savage alex, when you are OOM, no Aetherflow stacks, Aetherflow on CD. Eating fairy gives you 3 more lustrates that might keep the tank alive a few seconds longer.

i dont have a SCH at 60(yet), but i wanted to ask, does dissipation also restore 20% mana along with giving 3 aetherflow stacks just as original aetherflow ? Or it's just bare 3 stacks with 20% healing buff.

No mana restoration, just stacks and healing buff.

The only time I've used Dissipation in any actual content was by mistake.
And in Ravana Ex.
Fun times were had.

I haven't seen anyone use it on savage, which is the only place where yoshi claimed it could be arguably useful. None of the streams I've seen from people clearing A1 had their SCHs use dissipation on any moment of the fight.

It's blatantly useless. And no, it doesn't work as a panic button, if you are oom and cast dissipation you **** up yourself even more, because even if you are oom you can ask you BRD to ballad, or your WHM to go ez for a short period of time while you recover, your fairy will still provide small heals regardless. If you happen to actually get out of the hole with those 3 lustrates, you'll immediately get into another one for making yourself completely useless for the next 30 seconds, and then have fun having to resummon your fairy back.

At the moment, dissipation gives 5, but takes away 10. It's not even useless, it's even worse, it's counterproductive.
