    [Request] Riviera Dress to become Riviera Vest

    Can we please have the Riviera Dress from the Gold Saucer be separated from the skirt? It feels like such a waste of potential outfit options stuck to that long skirt. If people wanted that look, they could just couple it with the Plain or Spring Skirt.

    So can we please have just the top like the male version?

    The trouble is, that outfit is actually a costume worn by npcs so it's highly likely that's just how it was originally modelled, and would require a whole new model to be made in order to separate it. You're better off just asking for a gender-free vest based on that design as a new body piece (yes, I actually love how the riveria dress currently is and don't want to change it ).

    For me it wouldn't be such an issue (provided I could wear it, of course, since I'm currently male ^_~) if it didn't dye so badly. They've tried to solve it with some of the later gear by dyeing all parts of the garment into shades of the same colour, so that's something. But with the Riviera dress you're stuck with the red bodice no matter what =/ Sure, I like red, but sometimes I want a different colour scheme. And some people don't like red, especially those who've chosen more exotic colours for their character skin/hair.

    Gender-free would be perfectly fine with me. All I want is to complete my Garnet Cosplay without the copious amounts of cleavage in the current options...

    Man... I'm not getting my hopes up, but it would be great if this change would be implemented in 3.1...

    I also would like to see it split out to top and skirt. It would bring it more in line with the other national outfits that are multiple pieces, and the top would pair well with so many pants!

    Npc In AST CutScene Had It

    The fabric design around the chest looks a little different on this npc I think though.

    Ditto that op's post. Would love to be able to wear that and dye it entirely.

    Durp me. The elezen female is wearing the Male version... which is already separated from the skirt;;

    Female version-upper half of Riviera Dress- {Yes Please}.
