    Why can't you tell at a glance how close you are as it is? It shows you the numerical value towards the next level. Far more accurate than a percentage.

    Different people, different perspectives. I enjoy percentage, myself, not that it's a big deal for something like this. Then again, it wouldn't be a big deal to implement, either.
