I'm super excited for all the awesomeness occurring in two days!! The Grand Companies, the Chocobos, the Ifrit Battle, more Chocobos, the Live Letter from the Producer, everything else in the new patch, and even more chocobos...

(obviously I'm mostly excited about chocobos..)

It's sort of unfortunate. I came back after a year away and expected huge things to have happened, but it's still pretty lackluster in almost every area. Improvements have been made, but it just doesn't feel like we should still be getting fundamental design-document type changes this far in.

I feel like Yoshi is trying to polish a turd left to him by his predecessors and no matter how hard he tries, he will always be working with a piece of shit. Not his fault. There's just too much going against this game for it to make a miraculous recovery. Back to waiting and checking on progress every few months.

Reading the patch notes for the first time made me more excited to play..I've been taking a lot of breaks from FFXIV, and this patch REALLY makes me want to log on and play again.

But mostly, I'm just really excited to ride a damn chocobo!!

So you are saying that your 1 gil is worth 2 of my gil? If so that means my 3 Gil is worth more than your 1 Gil and its a good thing my Gil is exponentially greater in quantity than all your Gil. So the fact remains that your Gil is more expensive, but I have more of it, so by logical deduction... I am better than you.

Serious note, yes I am stoked for this update as well! And yes on the eve of getting chocobos (having them on my mind) every time I run around I think..."I'd be there already on Chocobo" so I have temporarily stopped playing until the 4th lol.

I'm so excited! I'm totally going to run around on a chocobo as soon as possible and maybe even try a quest to see how the new battle adjustments work. Don't know about the airships though. Using one at this stage would be too emotionally painful to be worth it lol.

I'm excited for the patch and after reading the changes in the update I've already emotionally moved onto that stage of the game - so the current stage until the patch seems meh~
