PLD dps needs to be buffed, current dps a joke

np.if u dont have to tank some adds etc.,u usually use 1-3 Halone(shield oath) in a whole fight. depending on the OT dps and on the the dmg your dps do ^^

really? warriors now are in they gold moment, DRK's suffer because they dont have enough mitigation and have issues to fight even vs a magical boss because they can use skills like reprisal, but have a nice dps mt and ot.

and NOW whe have a paladin a nice class with excelent mitigation, excelent support to all party, and only a 150 diference of dps vs a DRK and complaining about that, yeah whe can ask to yoshida to put artema to paladins to dealt 99.999 hits every time.

really the DPS are dealt much damage to the tank comunity.

Don't know what DRK's you're playing with. But it sounds like they suck.

It seems like each one pretty much has their proper place in the chain...

Paladin has best mitigation especially against physical and lowest DPS
Dark Knight sort of in between with a bit less mitigation but better against magic and a bit higher DPS
Warrior obviously has the best DPS and still good survivability

TBH I think paladin does need a buff but in the form of more mitigation/better healing to justify the loss of DPS.

Well at my static i'm main PLD since 6 months ago and i think it is a matter of knowing the best time to use no enmity combos or switch to sword oath whenever u can, not a bad dps like pictured here at all. We killed Faust at A1 savage with no problems (my OT is a WAR) or dps issues, and damage mitigation from Pally allows me to solo tank and use only one healer at Ravex with no problems at all, i don't think WAR or DRK could do that (solo tank+heal Ravex). And for gods sake Valkyrie-Amber u are a PLD 60 and have no DRK or WAR at 50 at least to know what they can do on first hand so try to love more ur tank class and do the best with what u have, if u think u are having dps issues (and i personally don't) use raid food.

Because they aren't taking up a slot as DPS. Still doesn't justify the huge difference in damage between tanks

I know... Still seems kind of sad that Warriors can be beat the actual dps classes or at least give them a run for their money.

To put that into perspective, our Summoners (Our BLM switches for that fight) do 1700-1800 DPS in A2S, and our bard does ~1300. The fight is almost constant AoE with no downtime, and there is a stacking vulnerability mechanic.

Our Monk drives the gobwalker in the second half of the fight, so his DPS is pretty inconsequential.

I don't remember our Scholar's numbers, but they're pretty high up there.
