Also, officially we're still in The Time Bubble. Time doesn't pass in anything like real time simply because it'd mess with the narrative badly and events wouldn't unfold naturally.

While a little time has obviously passed since 2.0, they're still trying to avoid as many obvious references as possible, AFAIK.

So here is why we have a rough estimate of time in the game.

Logically speaking we can only assume that Yda died before 1.0. So when the whole Lyse is Yda thing was revealed Lyse said that Yda died 6 years ago. Given that we know 5 years passed between 1.0 and 2.0 we know that the remaining content couldn't have been over more than a year in time length otherwise it would have happened in the timeline of the game and would have actually caused a bigger plot hole of why it's not discussed.
