Patch broke ps4 Heavensward

After patch the ps4 heavensward refuses to start.
After pressing X from main menu the game does not run past the dragoon head image.

The static image just stays there until I close the application.

All other ps4 games are working just fine. Please fix the bug that causes this. I have a launch ps4

Obviously the bug isn't affecting everyone.
Booted several times and the exact same thing happens every time.

I am not having that issue, however I noticed the text when Vengeance wears off is in Japanese since the patch. I'm amused by it(I'm a guy, we're very easily entertained) so I just chuckle and move on.

Wonder what could cause that. Was just on my ps4 playing this afternoon

I had this happen a few days ago. There was a notification for a PS4 System Software update, and I installed it before heading to bed. The problem went away the next day. Dunno if it was related at all.

I have the latest firmware and still XIV and only XIV does not run.

That suck hope its fixed soon, although the bug forum would be a better place to post then here I think as the tech people are more likely to see it first.

On a side note the PS3 build is working fine after patching.

Can't you Del the update file? and try to re install it?
