It means you're bad and you want SE to give you whatever you want without trying. They might as well just set up an NPC in Ul'dah that gives everyone glowing weapons because in a month that is all Ifrit is going to be.
This old argument again?

Exaggerating doesn't prove your point. I've made a long winded post about this in the past, so I'll say it in brief here; quick is not synonymous with easy.

My LS still does Darkhold regularly. Admittedly we have tapered off some, but that's more due to fatigue because Darkhold is the only thing to really do from 1.18.

In 1.19 we're getting strongholds, Ifrit and the entire materia system.

There will always be players who glue themselves to their seat until the exhaust every ounce of potential content from a new release.

But the beauty of the 15 minute reentry is that a group of friends doesn't need to join up with a larger LS to participate. What if a small LS only has 15 members? Should they really have to tell 7 of their members "sorry, better luck next week" because of a once-a-week timer on content?

The idea that "challenge" should come from being forced to wait is absurd. Now LSs can choose from strongholds, Ifrit, Darkhold and NMs as events and fill down time with exp and spiritbond grinding.

Why should we have to wait if they actually create challenging content? The challenge should be in the fight, not in twiddling our thumbs waiting for the fight.

I'm sure Yoshi-P and crew are aware that they need something to keep busy those with more time to invest than others. Materia is a start on that. And I'm sure endgame will be chalk full of it, but none of this is endgame. It's the base in which the path to endgame will be built.

This topic ultimaty is a matter of choice. If people don't want to enter but once a week, they don't need to. I like that my LS can run a raid once a week a few times, but that those individual members still have the freedom to put together a group throughout the remainder of the week.

See the whole point of limited restrictions is flexibility of play styles. Which ultimately is more inviting to a broader audience than a system that punishes the whole to stifle a few.

I'd rather a system that let's us goof around and toss random party set ups at something rather than the rigid mess XI was because of how long it took to do anything.

15 minute cool down means my LS could do a few normal runs in a night then toss something like an all THM run together. But God forbid we ever relax and have fun in an MMO. Everything needs to be serious business grinding. And when you're not grinding, you should be thankful that you're allowed to wait to grind.
