I get to 60 now so i can get 1350 tomes and be on par with everyone else instead of needing to wait 4 weeks to get the caps.

If I am not mistaken aren't the tomes you earn currently not carried over week to week? What I would like is them to actually make them stay. I sometimes can't get enough tomes to get what I want in 1 week and like to take my time. But I also don't want to be left behind just because of that. I am not saying give me my tomes or anything like that other person is. Just saying let me keep what I earned.

No, they carry over. You can only get 450 Esoteric tomes a week, with a total of 2000, once you cap 2000 you wont earn anymore, you just have to spend them to start getting tomes again. The Law tomes are uncapped, you can farm 2000 a week if you wanted to.

I don't think you understand what welfare is...

Also, it interferes with letting people approach the game the way they want. A cap makes people want to fill up on a currency so they don't miss out, but it takes a lot of time to do that. It actually punishes people who have less time rather than helping them.

Remember in patch 2.5 in when they removed the weekly one per week gear cap from WoD and where they gave us a quest to earn upgrade items for doing all 3 raids as well? I like options.....It would not bug me if they made the cap 300 per week again if they removed the limit of gear a person could get from Normal Alex in a week. At least then I could gear all my jobs evenly and have a reason to play more than one job then having to wait weeks for one job to be completely geared to finally go into another one.
