I don't like the weekly cap either, however if the caps go away it will only widen the elite / casual player base even more.
I actually like the weekly cap. Maybe the amount I can get per week could be increased a bit. But for a player who avidly plays AND has to go to work, it means I don't have to play 24/7 just to keep up with players with more free time on their hands.
I hate this attitue of "Since i couldnt do it, noone should be able to".
That being said the problem lies in the armoury system. Countless threads have been made on the fact that this game allows players to play any class at any time, then caps their ability to do so by making weekly locks.
As I said many times, it's as if in any other game with weekly caps reaching that cap in one character locked the entire account.
