PC freezing while playing ff14?

me and a friend of mine have had this issue multiple times recently, anyone else have it , and anyone know what might be causing it?
we are playing on the DX 11 client, he has an Nvidia build while I have AMD. if you need more info um jsut ask xD

I have the same, although with a Nvidia GTX 970.

I rolled back to the GTA V driver, and it fixed most of the freezing. Mainly, just make sure your/their computer isn't overheating

Are you playing in Windowed mode? Windowed mode causes all sorts of problems with me on DX 11.

this is an interesting statement, I was in windowed mode then switched to full screen when the last freeze happened. Come to think of it most of my freezes seem to happen when i am windowed or alt tabbing out a lot o.O

Yeah it used to do that to me too. Switching to full screen mostly fixed it (on my system anyway). Lots of people are having trouble with DX 11 and windowed.

Only time I've had freezes since 3.0 went live is if I was tabbed while zoning.Now I make sure not to tab out after TPing/returning and havnt locked up since.

the game is now crashing every 5 minutes and is now completely unplayable :/
