    Oh I know about weapon making the most of the difference in DPS, but he literally stood in almost all the AoEs. The White and Black Horse Knights long straight line AoE? Yeah, he takes chunks of dmg cause of his gear.

    Having better gear wouldn't justify standing in AoE, or improve his health by anything particularly substantial.

    Skill>gear and all, but it seems like you ran into someone who was lacking on both. Would take quite a bit of gear to make up that difference.
