Too much of a loss for the average player. Remember in order to purchase these you require someone (most likely yourself) to have a gatherer and then spend your Red Scrips on Favor and then obtain the items required in order to trade in your Crafter Reds. The average player is keeping their scrips in order to purchase the vendor armor/weapons. Very few players will be spending their scrips on these mats. Even fewer would be selling them. If you spent reds on these mats you are probably using them to craft your own armor/weapons.

Personally, I have not seen anyone in the new armor on my server. But I have seen images/posts of Japanese players who have crafted the armor.

not really much hassle at all since only takes 4-5hrs to cap red scrips for gathering if u got botany/mining and fishing lvld. most fish required for red scrips can be caught 24/7 while a couple is on a timer.
with botany and miner lvld with books unlocked for legendary nodes should be able to get 2-4 items per node and hit the nodes which doesnt require books to get 2-4 items per node.

crafting takes about 30mins to 1hr to cap if u got mats but can easily get most of mats just from retainers.

would rather make own gear instead of selling mats at moment

At this point in the game, high end crafting pretty much requires high end gathering.
Right now it's just not profitable to buy intermediary wares and do 1 final synth like many of us were used to pre-expansion.
Most people that have reached this point in crafting start from the bottom and do everything themselves, literally "making it from scratch" and self-synthing all the way up.

While everyone was gawking at the time and difficulty required to obtain these items I simply went ahead with the process. Capped my scrip, got my 45 Favors, Gathered for 11 hours, and traded it all in.

Sold 15 Purified Coke on the MB for 7.5mil
Sold 15 Purified Coke in trades for 15 mil via party finder.
Turned 5 HQ Coke into an HQ Adam Ingot that traded for 5mil

Seriously with housing hard-capped there's nothing else to spend that many millions of gil on. I returned to the game in 2.45 or so and just didn't bother making gil anymore. Housing is something you can't buy now even if you have the money. And if you're not in it for the money, that kind of gating on gathering and crafting is not fun.

Im Broke AF now because i based my ENTIRE income around SB'ing. Folks dont do what I did. But thank you for letting me know Coke is at an all time high, I have a random amount on my personage, I will be selling that ish as soon as I get home.

Okay great, now you have your scrips capped. Now you can get your purified coke right? No you can't. Those 450 red gathering scrips you got? Now you have to use those on favors to get items to be able to turn in your 450 red crafting scripts (once they're tokens). You need 10 such items from gathering, or 3 HQ if you're lucky. You can get 45 favors with your 450 gathering scrips, and each favor has a CHANCE of yielding about 0-4 of the item you need to turn in with your crafting scrips. Each favor takes 15minutes. That's 15 minutes x 45 favors just to use your gathering scripts.

Yeah you're right not much of a hassle at all.

Can you teach me this? I've been working very hard to get these mats because I very much want the new glamour items that came out.
