Crafters as justified in charging a ridiculous price for ten minutes of work, because they did the months of hard work needed to get to the point where they can create a pricy item in ten minutes of work. That's something a lot of people (almost all of them folks who have never touched a crafting class) simply fail to see.

Leveling crafting more than pays for itself while leveling it. I don't need to keep getting paid again and again and again for something I've already been getting benefit from all along. So yeah, something that takes 10 minutes of work really only needs to pay for that 10 minutes. All the preceding months have already been covered.

Undercutter, here - I start hard and I keep cutting until I find what people are paying. If I don't like what they're paying, I find something else to sell, and I salt the earth behind me as I go.

Actually I vendor everything at npc prices. This is because there is nothing on the broker worth buying or that needs to be bought in order to progress. The only gil I spend is on mending gear and teleport. Food is worthless pots are worthless gear is worthless housing stuff is worthless have I covered everything? Oh someone mentioned materia - also worthless.

If they want to change that they need to adjust the effects of food and potions to make them viable and adjust the crafted gear to make it a competitive alternative to other gear you get in the MSQ or dungeons ect (for the price)..... Another thing would be to lessen the drop dates of dungeon gear to boost demand for crafted gear?

There really isn't a silver bullet. It would take some tinkering of a few things to fix this issue not to mention the curb in fake gil that continues to flood the market.

Food and potions are viable and used by just about every raider in the game. The demand is real. Crafted gear is also viable albeit in a limited manner. There is a demand for healing, Str, and vit accessories along with accuracy, Str and vit Materia. The current tank bis includes a set of pentamelded 150 slaying accessories.

You know, the Lodestone is a great tool to get a grasp on someone's investment into the game to see if they're somehow forming words with their anus rather than their brain. A few things I check that often go hand in hand with ill-informed comments like this:

• Only one class capped? Check.

• No or few DoH/L leveled? Check.

• Equipment "behind the curve"? Check.

• Achievements locked? Check.

• No signs of significant end game progression from themselves or their FC fellows? Check.

If you have barely scratched the surface of this game, how are you at all qualified to make such blanket, sweeping statements (which are both false, and demonstrably so) when the most you've accomplished is completing the extended tutorial?

Back to the market... this is how a free market works and how you find true market value. Majority of what I sell is to make some good gil it is priced at a fair value and I expect a few days to get a return on it. When I am just trying to free up retainer space I sell it at dirt cheap prices since I want it gone yesterday to make room for better profit product. I will not be restocking those items so you have 3 main options... 1 accept yours will take a bit longer to sell 2 buy mine and mark it up 3 compete with me and make less gil. Any time my product seems to be the target of a price war I ask my self is the effort worth the new value? If its not I leave my price where it is and let under cutters figure that out on there own.
