I am progressing savage alex so it is kinda simple for me.

By the time relic 3.1 comes out, people will have A4 on farm already so relic weapons will already be obsolete for a lot of raiders. So obviously, getting the eso weapon will be critical as it will help a lot for floor 3 and 4. Just like before heavensward, relic weapons will be mainly for non-raiders or glamour for those with savage weapons.
