    Rubberbanding with low ping

I've just come back to FF14 after a break since 2.1 and am having significant issues with rubberbanding to the point where the game is barely playable. When I stand in a major city and watch other players run around everyone stops every ~3 seconds then speeds up to catch up. The same is happening in dungeons and I am having issues with my spells constantly being interrupted (while not taking damage) and getting hit by aoes that I am nowhere near.

I have tried both WTFast and Pingzapper, gone into my registry to remove my tcp delay and tried both wired and wireless connections... nothing seems to help.

The devil of it all is that I've run tracerts and WinMTR and as far as I can tell my ping is pretty good, generally sitting between 80-120... I've raided successfully on worse in other games.

I'm nearing the end of my rope on this one... I talked a friend into buying the xpac to play together, but I'm just not having fun dealing with all this lag. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Here is my WinMTR printout with my local IP ommitted:

Too much jitter on your line....spikes to just over 2x the norm, and at times high enough for a retransmitted packet to cause you to miss the natural refresh cycle of the game (300ms in open world, lower in instances). Need to get your ISP involved. Any response times over 150ms are pretty much guaranteed to negatively impact gameplay. Ideally you want to stay under 100.

Near as I can tell, if there is a problem there it is between Seattle and Montreal. Would that be something my local ISP can resolve? And with the results of that winmtr I would expect the odd spike, but I an having the issue literally every three seconds like clockwork.

Throwing a guess i'd check if anyone is stealing your wireless. This sounds like something a big download would do. Check for background tasks using the network with RESMON.EXE. Could it be downloading the windows 10 update?
