Dragon is fine, BotD is not that hard guys, just use the about to use 4th conbo and have 20 use Ge. In no way would I call any class harder than the other they all have different mechanics and run differently. New DRG is not hard it is just different, just like monk compared to DRG is not hard just different.

I do not play Monk so I'm not certain of this but do they have a random positional that procs or do they always know which positional will proc based off their previous combo action? For example, with DRG when you finish a combo and BotD is active, it is random whether or not Fang and Claw (side positional) or Wheeling Thrust (rear positional) will proc. Many DRGs (including myself) in other threads have asked for the randomness to go away and have Fang and Claw 100% proc after Full Thrust Combo while Wheeling Thrust should 100% proc after Chaos Thrust (since you already have to go to the rear for full potency on Chaos Thrust).

Does Mnk have that kind of randomness? That's my only complaint with DRG but if it is like that for MNK, then at least that helps me better understand why they made it like this for DRG.

DRG is really easy, don't know why would you say that, imo the hardest DPS class is Monk.

I see even mediocre drg putting out good dps. It's the strongest dps in the game right now, imo.

I love the people with super informed opinions as to what classes are easy and hard without even having them at 50, let alone 60. I know y'all just want your class to be the hardest, but come on.

    Thats lvl 50.

At lvl 60 its a 10 skil rotation. Which is oversimplifying it a bit.
For example by the same measurement, ninja is a 7 skill rotation with weaving fewer oGCDs between and MNK is a 7 skill rotation with weaving even fewer oGCDs.

This however doesn not show the full picture of any of the jobs mentioned above.

When it comes to DRG, the main thing that changed from 50 to 60 in terms of difficulty imo was doubling the positionals and adding the new buff BotD which the player needs to find a balance between accumulating and depleting time via geirskogul, without letting it fall off.

So far the only dps i have at 60 are DRG, MCH and NIN and imo DRG is the most challenging of them, with MCH being close behind and NIN being fairly forgiving. Overall imo SE was aiming to make the easier jobs harder to play and keeping the difficulty of the harder jobs (imo NIN was the most difficult job at lvl 50) roughly the same.

I'd say no job at the moment has the right to claim itself being the hardest, or calling others "easy as fuck" because they are pretty close to each other.

I feel like all the melee DPS are pretty easy....

    - Monk has postionals, but they dont change so its just a matter of intelligently using your oGCD's and knowing when the mob is gonna force you to lose stacks. It's memorization of the skills themselves for Monk.
    - With DRG it has turned into a more twitch based gameplay. Sure you can "try" to hit all the positionals, but if your anything like me then missing that postional just isn't an option. DRG requires awareness of your 4th combo to use Geirkursogl effectively.
    - Ninja Brings with it several different combo's and a more in depth casting system. Their timer based ability is long and easier to keep up from the introduction of armor break. Nin is about maintaining weaknesses and DoT's while keeping aware of the cooldown on ninjutsu.

All three play in a similar fashion, but bring a different flavor to the table. Honestly, I'm tempted to say that BLM is the most difficult class to play right now as they have to deal with a timer and cast times.

For those that think positional are not a big deal, try playing with a tank that keeps turning the mob.

A grossly incompetent tank tends to make *everything* more difficult than it needs to be, so I'm not sure what your supposed point is.
