Frame rate and contoller lag issues.

Hello, I recently bought a new computer that came bundled with Windows 8. And since I reinstalled FF14 on it, the game hasn't run properly. The frame rate is uneven, the controller's input is laggy and my character glitches and doesn't animate properly when she moves. My video card should be more than enough to handle this game, but I don't see any changes no matter how much I lower the graphics settings.
I'm not having issues with any of the other games I play on this PC, just Final Fantasy. If anyone could offer a suggestion to help me out I'd appreciate it greatly.

You could try changing dx9 or dx11 in the launcher.

Updating your drivers is always nice, they change often.

Assuming your gfx adapter is nvidia, you may want to install nvidia geforce experience. it's a game settings optimizer. It only works for dx9 at this time but the results are good. There's a button with a performance slider you could explore.

Other brands may have something similar.

Just in case, get Malware byte and scan your computer. It's free and it's a reference in malware detection.
