Will we ever see group content that isn't a dungeon on rails?

I would love to see a return of Hamlet Defense Battle content for both DoH/DoL/DoM/ and DoW!

Like for example what if we need to survive a dragon assault on ishgard or one of the vigil, and then not only have to repair the defenses but fight on the front line as well against a hoard of some kind!

This would be nice. But only if it stand out of the relic quests. Farming it 20 times the week to get with some luck the items that were needed to start the relic quest killed the fun of it for many players.
The best part of it was also that it dropped the best second tools (the militia tools) for DoH/DoL.
