To be honest im kind of tired of Louisoix and Alphinaud, I will like to know more of Louisoix's son, he is a total mistery for now
He's not a total mystery is he? I was pretty sure that he was implied to be a Sharlayan of rank who disapproved of Louisoix's involvement in Eorzean affairs. It would mean he probably doesn't like what his kids are up to either. Sharlayan's are for the most part very non-interventionist.

More on Fourchenault, Louisoux's son, from the 'Tales from the calamity' series
It had been almost a month since the twins first learned that Archon Louisoix would be leaving Sharlayan for the shores of Eorzea. His purpose, he had patiently explained, was to aid the distant realm in forestalling the ruinous arrival of the Seventh Umbral Era.
Sensing the fixity of his grandsire’s resolve, Alphinaud had chosen to swallow his melancholy and voice no word of complaint. Not so his sister, nor less his father, Fourchenault. Alisaie protested the journey purely out of her abiding love for Louisoix and the unbearable thought of his absence; Fourchenault’s strident objections were of a more political nature. Louisoix’s eldest son was an influential member of the Forum, the body responsible for shaping Sharlayan policy, and he, like so many of his colleagues, was a staunch opponent of military intervention. It was, he believed, the duty of his countrymen to chronicle world affairs, not to interfere in them.
When the steel-clad wolves of the Garlean Empire descended upon Ala Mhigo, it was Fourchenault and his fellows who had attempted to parley a peace. In the bitter wake of the failed negotiations, however, they saw no recourse but to forsake the colony they had built within the borders of the war-threatened realm. Following five years of elaborate and painstaking preparation, the plan to evacuate the settlement’s entire population to the northern archipelago of their homeland was put into motion.
My question would be, what could have happened to him that he doesn't even figure into the story in relation to Alphinaud and Alisaie though. His own kids aren't even of age yet and running all over Eorzea and he's not even trying to chase those two down. I'd always sort of assumed that the parents were dead or something and that they had been raised by their grandfather, especially since I want to say Alphinaud mentions something somewhere in the MSQ about being taught by Louisoix...? (If I'm remembering that correctly.)He's not a total mystery is he? I was pretty sure that he was implied to be a Sharlayan of rank who disapproved of Louisoix's involvement in Eorzean affairs. Well, most likely Alphinaud and Alisaie are in Eorzea illegally. In the Astrologian questline, you find out that leaving Sharlayan is heavily regulated and is in such a way that the brightest minds of Sharlayan are never allowed to leave as they are considered national resources. As such, Alphinaud, who is said to be a child prodigy and benefited from the education of his grandfather, (who himself has been stated to be rather higher up in the hierarchy before his leaving) would very likely be considered one of these national resources and would never be allowed to leave.
No idea where his father, Fourchenault, stands in the contest of Bibliothecs and their opponents. The Bibliothecs, as we are also told in the Astrologian story, are responsible for keeping Sharlayan technology from Eorzeans.
The thing is though, if they could track down Leveva just for trying to teach, it can't be hard to track down Alphinaud, the kid has his hands in all the upper diplomacy of Eorzea. Maybe this will figure into a later questline, or perhaps their father is keeping them form tracking down his kids. Any mention of their mother anywhere, ever?Well, most likely Alphinaud and Alisaie are in Eorzea illegally. Alphinaud and his sister ARE actually of age. In elezen society childrens are thought to be a grown man at the age of 16. Which Alphinaud is. After he finished his study in studium he traveled to eorzea. In order to search for his grandfather.
Why the twins father is never mentioned is because he never left sharlayan. He is still there and i assume that the twins keep in touch with theyr father
I suspect they were originally supposed to come home after they found out what happened to their grandfather. There prolonged stay is probably note something that they were supposed to do.
I'm really hoping the Shalayans come into the story in a bigger way eventually. If that is the case, we might see some interesting family drama play out between the twins and their father, particularly since they seem to have very different stances on what they should be doing.
