Which questions would you like to see answered on Tuesday from the live letter?

As everybody already knows, SE will be broadcasting a letter on Tuesday live via YouTube. What are some of the questions or concerns you feel they should be addressing? For me it's:

Give us a general release date for the PS3 version of the game. This launch is important since it's giving XIV a second chance at becoming a bit more mainstreamed, thus becoming more populated. The server I'm in (Cornelia) seems dead compared to other MMO games I've played. I want to see some new players already

When is the first expansion pack planned to be released? Details? No exact date has t

When are you planning on having 1.20 released by?

Details on the next primal fight. I'm guessing it's going to be Titan followed by Garuda.

Any information on the landscape overhaul mentioned?

More detail about jobs

When will we see female Chocobos? and will breeding be a big thing in XIV?

If any of these have been answered please let me know and excuse my arrogance!

At the moment I'm split between asking questions I'm excited about the answers to and questions about how hard some aspects of this patch and the last patch have failed.

Some questions:

What's the general time frame (if they care to give one) when they think the game will be ready for re-retail (P2P)?

Any details on the Chocobo armor and what it will be used for?

If Chocobo digging isn't in the 1.19 patch, will we see it soon?

Job details (more than just what will turn into what) What role while each of the different jobs be filling: healer, dd, mdd, tank, puller, etc etc?

Are there going to be more main story quests, or has the Grand Companies taken over that role?

Map remapping: which zones are going to be changing first and which ones are you planning on changing after that? Or are they all going to be simultaneously changed?

Can we get more side quests with little cut-scenes (there is pretty neat little cut-scene in a quest in LL that deals with the Admiral) can we get more stuff like that in side quests? As the current setup really makes it feel like quest-grind/leve like, personally I enjoy cut-scenes more. ^^


Can you give us any hints on how you want housing to work? (Guild halls/personal houses/instanced/world housing/etc)

Care to tell us what those empty "Airship-like" platforms are for that are scattered across Eorzea's realms, was that content that was scrapped, or do they still have a function in the future? If so what?

When are you planning on revising the search feature? I mean it seems good on paper but I think it's a little user-unfriendly.

That's all I can think of at the moment. But I'm sure if I really sat down I could come up with a HUGE list of questions as this game really intrigues me at the moment. Lots of changing happening, most for the better, the other half I can/will deal with on my own. And after all those questions I would have to give my greatest thanks to the dev. team for doing such a thing on youtube as well as the hard work put in to making this game better!

I don't see what good asking about the map will do. It'll be ready when it's ready. Why not focus on questions that might influence the course of what the team is currently working on?

Quite simply because I see it as the biggest upcoming change to the game. Even bigger to the average player than the server rewrite will be. It would be quite boring if the live letter from the producer consisted of players asking nitpicking questions about small features they want added or complaining about things like weapon design. I see it as a promotional tool, and one of the biggest things they will have to promote when the game is relaunched on the PS3 will be the new world design.

not to mention it will change the way people play the game and where they reside. if they make Uldah less practical and Thanalan a little more difficult to traverse, people might be swayed to go to the other nations. which is pretty big imo
