3.2, where you can farm 2000 eso tomes and more each day (if you want)
also don't forget, there will be a tome rewards increase in 3.1, like there was one in 2.1, 2.3 and 2.5
You need 5 days to reach the weekly cap? In 3.1 in will be 2 or 3 days.
Don't wanna sound like an elitist or anything, but how little do you even play each week then?
After the reset this week, I got online, did one Expert, then joined a group to do all Alex Normal turns. Took a couple of hours, then I had all my Alex loot for the week, and was well on my way in terms of Esoteric tomestones for the week.
You can literally just come online to do an expert each day, which shouldn't take more than an hour(even with long queues for DPS).
FFXIV is already made to make things easy for casual players that don't have a lot of time to play. They can't make content that works for players that can't even run 6 dungeon runs in a whole week.
That's the thing, it is extremely fast when you play EVERY day.Don't wanna sound like an elitist or anything, but how little do you even play each week then?

But many can't play every day every week. If you want more info, read the topic your are replying to.
the idea is not that bad, since the goal of the cap is to limit the speed at which player will get them equipement before next add of content, an accumulative cap is quite nice for people that simply have irregular timing.
Believe the caps are placed like that so people don't rush content and get bored. We might as well have no cap if we are going to have a rollover cap.
