Because I'm pretty sure, no one ever, woke up and was like "LOL I DON'T HAVE TO WORK TODAY!" And Square Enix was like "LOL here have a THOUSAND FREE TOMES to get you ahead of that Veritas guy while he's busy working, what a loser hahaha"

yea, while I agree caps are needed to stem fully gearing in raid level gear. OP sounds like a complainer "Why does HE get better gear than me just because he has more free time and was able to put in more effort!? That's not fair~"

Read the OP's post again. He wasn't complaining about other people being better geared, he was complaining about better-geared people chewing him out for not being as geared as they were despite the fact that the gear has been available for a relatively short period of time, even though he was adequately geared for the content he was running.
