    Crashing during loads

A lot of threads have this round a bout title but none seem to have my specific issue so hopefully somebody can help me out. Im working a custom build from about two years ago so a little out-dated. Asus m5a97 2.0r mobo. AMD FX-8150, 8gb corsair(I think) NVidia GeForce 650ti.
Over the past week or so the game will crash during a load into another zone or DF. First it only happened once maybe twice a day and only during a big jump(i.e. Thanalan to Ishgard) but today its happened about 6 or 7 times maybe more I havnt been counting. And its with any load. During the load the game will freeze, at which time I do ctrl+alt+del to pull up task manager and end task, however task manager is now frozen, taking about 5 min to come up and then Im unable to do anything with it and eventually saying (not responding) in the window border. The only way for me to recover from this is to force reboot.
My cpu and mobo temps are fine during this time, cpu at about 48c and mobo at 28c. All drivers are up to date as far as I can find. Somebody please help! Im running DX11 and havn't had any problems since HW launch until now.
And there is no error code that comes with the crash

Might want to check your PSU.

I disagree with it being your psu as I ve been having this issue since installing Heavensward and it s getting worse and it s only ff
I have a nvidia 960 and the only time it crashes is on the load screens, been monitoring the graphics card temps etc and there s no problems there, can play Grand Theft Auto on high settings for 4 hours and no problems, lately though I can`t get a roulette done as it crashes bad on ff

Crashed as I typed this. Always seems to happen more often trying to teleport into Idyllshire.

I would recommend checking your windows files.

    -run cmd.exe as admin
    -type: sfc /scannow

Takes about 15-20 mins. Also get malware byte and do a threat scan.

You may want to check installed programs for unneeded background tasks.

Programs not responding is a software issue.

EDIT: read up on a potential dx11 bug on this page too.

Having the exact same problem, even to where it tends to crash more over long teleports or while loading Idyllshire (logging in, teleporting, or after a duty).
For me it started after the maintenance before this last one, where I crashed teleporting to Swiftperch for an S rank hunt (thought it was just because there were too many players), and it was all downhill from there.
Verified my cache on Steam and then redownloaded all patches and the expansion, didn't fix it.
