I like Thanalan but maybe thats just me, Uldah since 1.0. Particularly Western and Eastern Thanalan.

If you do East Than, certainly be sure to check out the fishing area at the Burning Wall. You have to take a side path to get to the one I'm talking about. The coordinates according to one of the maps I found online is X-30, Y-26. Here is a pic of someone fishing there that I got, (as well as the link to the page I got it from as well). Ever since I first discovered it, it's been one of my favorite areas in the game to just go to and relax. I'm also fond of the tavern at Camp Drybone itself, though that in particular wouldn't do well for a time lapse unless you slowed it down enough to show various players coming in and out of it, (and even then that would be server dependent really)....
