    Petition to increase Concealed node spawn rate

    As the title implies, if you would like to see the spawn rate for concealed nodes increased in the 3.05 hotfixes on Tuesday, bump this thread. If it could be adjusted to where were getting some degree of return on these favors in all circumstances (i.e. doing away with the chance of getting one item or even nothing) that might make the system a bit more tolerable for a lot of players, myself included. If enough people get behind this who knows right?

    I support this but I'd also want the following:

    Make the mats obtainable like any other gathering item by allowing us to deplete the node fully and using abilities.

    Have Favors cost 1 token each instead of 1 token for 5.

    Reduce the 10x of x and 10 x of y and crafters token to 2x of x and 2x of y and 1 crafters token.

    5 Favors per token is not bad.
    5 materials (enough for one material synth) per token is not bad, either.

    Its the 5 favors/materials per RED token that's bad. They should be BLUE tokens.

    I can see gear remaining red, but mats should not be red, they should be blue. Both for gathering, and then spending the gathered pieces for actual synth mats.

    Agreed. I never mentioned it because I was only suggesting stuff only related to the favor side of things.

    However, 1 token for 1 or 2 favors is needed because 12 hours of hardcore gathering is overkill.

    I did a favor the other day, only got 2 ooids, let alone the fact that I have not seen any of the HQ trade-in materials from these nodes yet and I'm down to my last 3 (bought 1 set for MIN and another for BTN and last 3 in total, not from one stack of 5).

    thats why i think there should be two ways to get the new materials: one with red scrips, which is fast and has a weekly cap that can be reached easily even by casuals (not 11+ hrs doing favors pls), and a slower option with blue scrips that isnt capped.

    I personally would like to see a bare minimum return of 1 in 8 nodes. This is a bit above the average I find, at least with btn, min for some reason with me is averaging 1 in 12-14 nodes. Maybe the seed value on the whole for their rng is flawed some how, that's another topic, but I would just like to see the experience of mining 16 nodes to get one or getting nothing at all, go away. Its just too much. I can understand failing for a lack of skill or planning on a craft but to be denied just for showing up and burning out the left button on my mouse as I tear through a bunch of nodes is obnoxious. This is also merely one step in a process of many we have to get through to do crafting/gathering endgame now, the strict rng here seems like a needless reach to time gate and get more of that subscription cash

    I really do not know what most people are doing but the favor system is not bad at all. I have gathered 45 favors since the update a week ago and here is my stats.

    Time Invested: 11 hours 15 minutes. (675 Minutes)
    Items Gathered: 208 Normal, 17 Rare
    Money Made: 24,200,000 Gil

    Means 1 Item every 3 minutes. Not really that bad.

    I am not going to disclose what exactly I am doing but people should give it a bit more time before crying over everything new so quickly. There is a ton of money to be made here currently if you do it right.

    The Problem is if making money isn't your primary goal with collectIng the mats but to actually use them for crafting.
