Basically it's because the fights are drastically different. Faust basically represents your sustained DPS in a dummy fight, because he has no mechanics for the DPS to worry about. You stab him repeatedly until he falls over, with no downtime at all from pull to kill. Compare that to Oppressor. If you're handling adds, there's going to be movement time where you aren't hitting things while pulling the adds away, running back to boss after killing adds, or both. Then there's the jumps, which are 15+ seconds or so where you aren't attacking. Then there's the fact that almost regardless of composition you're going to have to supply the Dancing Edge debuff, and that you have to use it as a higher proportion than you normally would because adds and jumps screw with timings. And I'm pretty sure they don't take damage from dots while jumping, so that's even more damage you lose…
