    SCH Pet MAcros

I started playing around with macros last night and Macro'd all of my fairies actions to mine to I could always have her on Obey.

    I put Embrace with Physick
    Silent Dusk with Virus
    Fey Caress with Leeches
    and Fey Wind with Succor.

This seemed to work pretty well last night, I was just wondering if there were more efficient ways to utilize fairy macros and get the most out of our combined skills.

This is just my opinion, but I'd suggest not macroing your fairy to things you cast. Early on it's not so bad, but later on you might wanna save certain cooldowns for mechanics. Whispering Dawn during AoE damage, Fey Covenant for heavy raid magic damage, etc.

Though you specify Selene's skills, so I will focus on that. If you don't wanna watch Selene, you MAY as well leave her in auto, I know she's a pain to use manually, but things like Fey Caress and Silent Dusk really work best controlled (Silent Dusk less so, because Selene DOES WHAT SHE WAWNTS! XD) and Fey Caress can be used for say a Warrior about to get pacified, and you won't have to Leech them. Tying Embrace to Physick also can cause problems where you're forcing her to heal a target who might only need a little top off, maybe only a single physick/embrace would've been enough, but you limit your split healing capability macroing her (She also won't listen to you half the time, for the above reason, she does what she wawnts XD)

I will say again it is my opinion, but I feel Sch really shines the more you micro-manage your skills

I have enough buttons, I really don't want to add more by telling Lily when to cast stuff on people.

I usually leave Selene on obey and Eos on sic. Only ever use Eos in dungeons anyway.

I...what? Eos on sic? SHE WASTED EVERYTHING SO NEEDLESSLY

I macro'd stuff so I have one button that corresponds to an ability for each fairy (except silent dusk and whispering dawn are their own). The icons are darkened for one fairy but her pet bar is still there for me to see the cds and such. I just hit a different button.

So one button does fey covenant with Eos and fey caress with Selene, the other does fey wind or fey illu. And a macro for either pet's embrace. When I played ages ago I just keybound my pet hotbar but since getting back into the game I wanted not to have wasted keybinds for all my other classes.

    Virus/Eye for an Eye with <t> <tt> <f>
    Embrace <tt> on DPS bar
And for EOS (really never any fairy on Sic pls pls pls) a Fey Illu + Rouse + Whisp Dawn and a Succor + Whisp Dawn

When i Played SCH(on ps4), i put embrace separately as a button to click and cast in conjunction with adlo or physic or whatever.
The only thing i macroed was rouse + whispering dawn, it worked well and quite instantly

    I do soooo many macros:

mouseover macros for all targeted heals.

All 8 faerie skills on their own macros so that I can move the skills to normal hotbars, embrace is mouseover, and whispering dawn interrupts whatever eos was casting.

Hotbar copy macros from ACN to SCH on my summon skills so that the pet skill macros switch depending on the summoned pet.

And finally, a protect macro that swaps ruin with broil depending on my level, so that the best single target spam is always the same keybind

I am on the other side of the fence. I refuse to use macros and keep both my feys on sic with them only being on obey when I solo outside of dungeons. They are cumbersome when I need to do split healing and sometimes have more than enough failure rate with the PS4 controller. Playing fighting games and other games that require twitch like responses prepared me well for SCH and managing 3 to 5 hotbars, depending on the situation.

I agree that eos should always be on Obey. Selene can be on Sic early on, but you'll want to control her on obey too. Selene tries to cleanse all bad status and some of them cant be removed, like the weakness when you raise, you would waste her CD for nothing.

I also don' t suggest the use of macros, especially for embrace. Fairies are better to use embrace on her own.

But if you want some pet macros, I suggest:

    /ac rouse
    /pac "fey wind"
    /pac "whispering dawn"
(Since the cooldown for them is the same, makes sense to put them together. You always want whispering dawn to be strong and you can rouse fairy and dps, since she will be 40% stronger and main heal for you as you cast your DoTs at least)

    Other good one IMO is:

/ac "Eye for an eye" <t>
    /ac "Deployment tactics" <t>

    or a complex version:

/ac "Eye for an eye" <tt>
/ac "Eye for an eye" <t>
/ac "Eye for an eye" <pet>
    /ac "Deployment tactics" <tt>
    /ac "Deployment tactics" <t>
    /ac "Deployment tactics" <pet>
(This way you ensures that the skill will be used no matter who you're targeting and you just need to hit the button twice for it to work. They also share the same cooldown, so no reason for not putting it together. If you can position your fairy on the right place, cast Adlo and cast this macro on her, you can hit almost the entire party with one of the best mitigation tools)

    Thanks for the input everyone.
I really like the macro idea for Rouse + Fey Wind, as I mainly use Selene exclusively in group content unless Eos proves to be needed to help carry a weaker healing partner.

As for Embrace and Silent Dusk, I think I'll just add in the skills by them selves and force myself to get better at micromanaging her and thinking as both of us separately.

In essence, I'm telling myself to git gud.
